Happy Birthday Erik!
The best (and easiest) chocolate cake:
200g chocolate
200g butter
250g sugar
5 eggs
1 tablespoon flour
Heat oven to 190C.
Melt the chocolate and the butter over a double boiler. Add sugar and let cool a bit.
Mix in the eggs one by one.
Stir in the sugar.
Pour into a buttered or papered cake pan/baking dish, and bake until just set, about 29 minutes in a square pan. The cake is best if you make it the night before.
