Our ride in from the airport
In the kitchen with Julia's mom, and Julia and Thomas' dog. Time to start eating!
Dinner. Russian meals are often made up of lots of small dishes, and everyone helps themselves. The dishes stay on the table for the whole meal, with additional dishes being brought out as needed.
Those little pastry things were deep fried and filled with ground beef. Yummy!
After dinner we went for a walk in the forest/park across the street from Julia's mom's apartment. Here we are checking out some books that were left on a bench.
